HIGH EFFICIENCY MOTOR
In the industrial sector the amount of the electricity usage linked to electric motors is about 74%. It is clear that if their efficiency i slow, this will have repercussions on the company’s energy costs.
Substitution of electric motors with top performing ones is an efficacy intervention which is quick, relatively simple and with quick returns on the invested capital.
High performance motors can lead to a potential reduction on the usage of 20%.
INVERTER
High efficiency motors (EFF1) for their specific design characteristics and paired with an inverter, create a real time adaptive system of the motor absorptions to the load conditions of the applications, supplying only the real necessary power. This allows:

REPHASING
Lo scopo del rifasamento è soprattutto quello di diminuire le perdite d’energia e di ridurre l’assorbimento di potenza apparente proporzionalmente ai macchinari e alle linee esistenti in un sito industriale.
Reasons to rephase the plant:
The Institution which distributes electricity imposed contractual clauses through the CIP tariff (n° 12/1984 and n°26/1989) which forces the user to rephase its plants, under penalty of a fine.
To reduce the loss of active energy, caused by the joule effect on the downstream distribution cables of the meter and the voltage drops generated by the higher currents caused by the reactive power absorption. The increased currents which come from this, make it necessary to overload the company’s electric plant (Diameter of the cables, transformers power etc..) compared to the effective needs of active power.
Il rifasamento dell’impianto elettrico industriale correttamente dimensionato rappresenta l’intervento tecnologico a più basso tempo di pay-back. Generalmente si ripaga in pochi mesi.
HIGH EFFICIENCY UPS
Un gruppo statico di continuità (detto anche UPS, dall’Inglese Uninterruptible Power Supply) è un’apparecchiatura progettata per mantenere stabilmente alimentati elettricamente in corrente alternata apparecchi elettrici. E’ indispensabile in ambienti dove le apparecchiature elettriche non possono in nessun caso rimanere senza corrente (ad esempio in luoghi pubblici come ospedali, centrali, centri di trasmissione data center, ecc..) evitando di creare un disservizio più o meno grave. I sistemi UPS proteggono queste strutture da fluttuazioni di tensione, quali picchi e cali, o dalle fluttuazioni di frequenza, fornendo inoltre autonomia o alimentazione temporanea per superare l’intervallo di tempo che intercorre tra la perdita e il ripristino della rete oppure la commutazione a un generatore di backup.
L’uso di sistemi UPS più efficienti può contribuire a ridurre lo spreco di elettricità e i costi.
Quando il pieno carico dell’apparecchiatura di un data center viene servito da un sistema UPS, anche piccoli miglioramenti nell’efficienza del sistema possono generare considerevoli risparmi sui costi annui.
